CHOSEN BY WILLIAM KENTRIDGE
At the time of writing, South Africa's William Kentridge is number 58 on ArtReview's Power 100, the highest ranked African artist. Kariba co-creator Daniel Clarke picked Kentridge's Felix in Exile as his favourite African animation for Africa.film; it also won a special distinction for emotion at Annecy in 1995 and has been screened at The Tate, MoMA and the Guggenheim, among others.
